ConCardis - suitable solutions for cashless payment processing.
Frankfurt/Main, May 5, 2009. ConCardis, A new edition of the “e-commerce guidelines 2009” published by ibi Research is available with immediate effect. The following current issues have been added to the guide to successful online trading: mobile payment, web-analytics, address verification, risk management, shipping and SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area). ConCardis contributed its many years of expertise in the area of payment transactions..
The e-commerce guidelines compile the knowledge of several renowned providers in the
e-commerce sector into one practical reference manual, and answer key questions relating to the virtual marketplace. The idea of the guide is to “help you to help yourself”, providing online merchants with information on issues such as selecting shop systems, the features of the different payment procedures, risk prevention measures and the prevalence of payment procedures abroad. Future shop operators will also find important points of contact such as banks and chambers of industry and commerce. The content is presented in a user-friendly format with checklists, case studies, interviews, graphics and lists of addresses and links.
“The e-commerce guidelines provide a comprehensive introduction to Internet trading that is easy to understand,” explained Dr. Ernst Stahl of the research and consulting institute ibi Research. “The accompanying website www.ecommerce-leitfaden.de enhances the print version with additional valuable information such as current studies and a newsletter.”
“We are pleased that our contribution to the development of the e-commerce guidelines demonstrates our expertise as a competent trading partner for cashless payment services,” said Rainer Sureth, Managing Director of Marketing and Sales at ConCardis. “The methods of payment on offer are of key importance in terms of success in online trading. There are two main criteria in our expanded e-commerce offering: firstly, the methods of payment should be widely accepted by the end-user, and secondly, they should bear a minimal risk of payment default for the merchant. We have addressed these requirements with our extended portfolio.” In addition to acceptance of MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Maestro and the e-payment solution “ConCardis PayEngine”, ConCardis now offers merchants the option of payment via PayPal, Internet direct debit and giropay.
