According to the German E-Commerce and Distance Selling Trade Association (bvh), the number of people shopping via the Internet is increasing and thus mail order and online transactions are also on the rise. ConCardis has expanded its portfolio for webshop operators and mail order merchants in response to this trend – the ConCardis PayEngine e-payment solution has been expanded to include a range of practical functions and settlement for all established methods of cashless payment.

Security precautions are even more important for Internet payments than in traditional over-the-counter shopping. For this reason, ConCardis and payment service provider Ogone have collaborated to further improve the existing ConCardis PayEngine and to align it to the needs of online shop operators and mail order merchants. ConCardis can offer its clients maximum security and protection from payment defaults with the new e-payment solution. ConCardis PayEngine is certified in line with the international data security standard PCI DSS, and also has an integrated fraud prevention function, which can be set according to individual client structure and cost of goods sold. The new reporting and overview function enables merchants to view and process transactions executed at any time. If required, webshop operators and mail order merchants can have these transaction overviews delivered automatically on a daily basis.

ConCardis PayEngine also enables acceptance and settlement of over 30 established payment methods. The “Alias Manager” function enables consumers to pay conveniently by storing purchasers’ encrypted payment profile, so that they do not have to enter their payment data again when next making a purchase. The “Group Manager” function provides an additional advantage for merchants in that they can manage all ConCardis PayEngine accounts centrally. The operational independence of each sub-account remains fully intact.

The right solution is available for every need; the e-payment solution is offered in three versions ConCardis PayEngine comfort, ConCardis PayEngine premium and ConCardis PayEngine professional. The basic version, ConCardis PayEngine comfort, is available from as little as €15 per month. Merchants can upgrade to the next version at any time.
