Responsible for internal and external corporate communications
Eschborn, 29 August 2016. Today, Concardis GmbH, one of Europe’s leading payment service providers, announced the appointment of Christian Drixler (40) to head of corporate communications. In his role, he will be responsible for internal and external corporate communications and report directly to Marcus W. Mosen, CEO of Concardis. Drixler has more than ten years of experience in communications consulting with a focus on the financial sector. He acceded to his new position on 1 August.
‘The stark changes in the payment market have made it necessary for Concardis to reposition itself as a full-service payment provider. This also comes with increasing demands on our corporate communications,’ says Mosen. ‘In Christian Drixler, we have recruited an experienced PR and communications manager for Concardis. He will help us to continue driving the repositioning of Concardis as well as the focusing of our corporate profile.’
Before coming to Concardis, Drixler was a senior consultant at Hering Schuppener Consulting, based in Frankfurt am Main. He completed his studies in literature and communications sciences at Augsburg University and the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.
‘I am looking forward to the communicative challenges Concardis will present in a very dynamic environment,’ said Drixler. ‘In times of transformation in particular, corporate communications play an important strategic role. Now we have to expand this role in order to support Concardis’ national and international course of growth in the best possible manner.’
