Chief Financial Officer
Jens Mahlke began his professional career with an apprenticeship as a banker at Deutsche Bank. Studies at the banking academy in Bielefeld ending with certification as a banking specialist would follow.
In 1993, Mahlke returned to Deutsche Bank. After working in risk management and with business customers, he moved to New York in 2000 to continue his work for Deutsche Bank. There he was responsible for, among other things, the development of commercial paper programs for businesses and financial institutes and the establishment of an international financial reporting department.
In 2004, Mahlke transferred to Deutsche Bank’s global transaction banking department in Frankfurt and, as director, took over leadership of the project focusing on a new strategic direction for business banking in Germany. As the head of product management for cards and product evolution, he was appointed to the executive committee of global transaction banking in 2008.
With the founding of Deutsche Card Service GmbH in 2008, Mahlke joined the executive management of the newly founded acquiring company. His most recent responsibilities included the areas of finance, risk management and HR, as well as the establishment of a pan-European e-commerce platform (gateway and acquiring). After the sale of the company to EVO Payments International in 2013, Mahlke took over management of business activities in Europe for EVO.
Mahlke has been the Chief Financial Officer of Concardis GmbH since July 2015. As CFO, he is responsible for the areas of controlling, finance, risk management and HR.
