Our solutions

Concardis terminals with a satellite connection are ready for use on every cruise ship of AIDA Cruises, enabling restaurant bills and other services purchased on board to be paid for by credit or debit card.

Most of the transactions are processed via the website My AIDA. Here, customers can book and pay in advance for services such as shore excursions, drinks packages, spa treatments or Internet access. The Concardis Payengine Premium package provides guests with many other payment options in addition to credit cards, including PayPal, advance payment or SOFORT Überweisung.

Concardis has also optimised the accounting for AIDA Cruises: transaction referencing enables two additional data points, such as an order number or customer number, to be recorded for each transaction. Thanks to EPA, the standard data format for credit card acquirers, AIDA Cruises also gets an electronic statement showing all card settlement data. The company can decide itself which information is presented. This improved overview reduces the workload for the accounting department considerably.
